Flow (outdoors only)
Experience your body in this class! This class features a flowing vinyasa sequence partnered with breath awareness, meditation, hands-on alignment, and relaxation. You will expand your strength, stamina and flexibility. You will enrich your current foundation and grow in your postures, mind and heart. This is the perfect transition from Beginner!
Yoga for Athletes (outdoors only)
Yoga is a great tool for athletes of all levels – whether you are a recreational athlete or a competitive athlete! Join us for classes designed to assist athletes in training (for ANY sport – rowing, tennis, running, swimming, soccer, etc!) Yoga aids in body awareness, balance, and focus while supporting recovery. This class may be what you're missing in your training regime!
Yoga for Teens (ages 13-19) @ the Community Center
Yoga for Teens, is a bridge for Social Emotional Learning that can help teens improve coping with stress, anxiety, as well as supports the mind-body connection. Synchronizing breath and movement on the mat helps cultivate a deeper awareness of one’s internal state. Giving your teen time to step back, and see themselves and their bodies better in the context of a safe space.
Yoga for TWEENS @ BK, only @ Brook Knoll Elementary
Yoga for tweens (8-12 year olds) is a helpful bridge for Social Emotional Learning between childhood and adolescence. Yoga helps them understand what’s going on, giving them time to step back, and see themselves and their bodies better in the context of their new reality. One step reservation for all 10 weeks. No need to keep logging in. Reservation includes new yoga mat for each student to keep. Student will need to wear comfortable clothes to move freely, bottle of water, and an open mind. I will provide props for classroom use, such as blocks and straps, to accommodate all levels on their journey.
